Rigid Plastic Extrusion Profiles (UPVC)

Rigid PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride or UPVC) can be used for thermoplastic extrusion and is supplied in a variety of colours and strengths. Unplasticised PVC is one of the stiffest polymers at ambient temperatures and is very durable. It is extremely versatile and can be used for UPVC profiles for internal and external applications.

Close attention to detail during the design phase of the rigid plastic extrusion profiles can ensure a reliable supply of cost-effective, good quality UPVC plastic profiles. The choice of thermoplastic material used for the extrusion profile will depend on its application and specification requirement, such as thermal, UV and chemical resistance, flame retardancy, smell, and impact strength. We will be happy to help with advice on the suitability of materials.

D W Plastics can manufacture rigid plastic extrusion profiles and UPVC extrusions from 5mm to 500mm width.

COVID-19 Update

We have remained operational all through the lockdown period to continue to supply our customers, some of which are key essential suppliers to the NHS and pharmaceutical sectors.

The welfare of our workforce and the wider community is our priority, so from the outset we have been following Government advice and Public Health Guidelines with respect to making the workplace ‘COVID-19 secure’ to limit potential exposure to and mitigate the spread of the virus. We have been reviewing safety measures continuously to ensure operations can continue with the necessary safeguards. We are therefore working at a reduced capacity and as many of our employees as possible are still working from home. Despite these changes, you can still contact us during normal working hours via the usual channels and details are available on the contact page of our website. We will answer as soon as possible, but please bear with us should it take slightly longer than usual for us to respond.

We are constantly reviewing the situation based on UK Government advice and will keep you informed as things change.
