History

D W Plastics Ltd was established in 1980 starting with two extrusion lines in a small facility in Gloucestershire. Over the years the company has evolved and diversified, expanding to its present large manufacturing facility in Chichester with 15 extrusion lines operating 24 hours. These premises have been home to the company since 1997 and the leasing of an additional adjacent facility has allowed the company to develop further and make provision for future expansion.

Throughout its history, the company has been able to adapt rapidly to the changes and challenges in the market place and to keep abreast of the new developments within the plastic extrusion industry. This experience and versatility has allowed D W Plastics to offer reliability and high-quality plastic extrusion services to its customers and puts us in good stead for the future.

Over a period of almost four decades, D W Plastics has manufactured a variety of plastic extrusion profiles gaining an enviable reputation for high-quality products, including building profiles, plumbing products, office partitioning, ceiling panelling, skirting, synthetic decking, safety and DIY products.

The company has shown considerable resilience and reliability providing customers with sustained extrusion design and manufacturing services.

COVID-19 Update

We have remained operational all through the lockdown period to continue to supply our customers, some of which are key essential suppliers to the NHS and pharmaceutical sectors.

The welfare of our workforce and the wider community is our priority, so from the outset we have been following Government advice and Public Health Guidelines with respect to making the workplace ‘COVID-19 secure’ to limit potential exposure to and mitigate the spread of the virus. We have been reviewing safety measures continuously to ensure operations can continue with the necessary safeguards. We are therefore working at a reduced capacity and as many of our employees as possible are still working from home. Despite these changes, you can still contact us during normal working hours via the usual channels and details are available on the contact page of our website. We will answer as soon as possible, but please bear with us should it take slightly longer than usual for us to respond.

We are constantly reviewing the situation based on UK Government advice and will keep you informed as things change.
