Celebrations at the Races
In June 2010 the company celebrated 30 years in the thermo-plastic extrusion business with an evening of horse racing, football and fireworks at the Goodwood Race Course.
The occasion was a successful tribute to the company’s longevity and the determination of its co-founders, Will Warren-Davis and Diana Harford.
Despite the mediocre result of the England football team and the damp weather conditions, fun was had by all and many a pound was won and lost on the horses.
After the presentation of two bottles of vintage 1980 wine, Will Warren-Davis spoke of how quickly the years had gone by. He said that at times manufacturing in the plastic extrusion industry had not been easy, but that D W Plastics Ltd had managed to weather the recessions. He thanked those present for their hard work for the company and gave a toast to the next thirty years!
