As part of DWP's expansion plans, further investment in plant and machinery will be required during 2012.

A new 80mm single screw extruder has been recently acquired from Boston Matthews to cope with the ever increasing demand for larger flexible PVC decking profiles.

This latest PC-controlled extruder will help to improve the extrusion tolerances and quality of the end product. The inverter drive electric motor will reduce the maintenance requirement and at the same time help to give a tighter process control window. 

D W Plastics continuously invests in delivering the highest quality solutions for our customers. With this in mind the company has purchased a wire eroder to enable the development team to keep a tighter control on the manufacture of the dies and formers for rigid and flexible plastic extrusion products and co-extrusions.

In 2010 D W Plastics Ltd celebrated its 30th anniversary. Over a period of three decades and more D W Plastics has manufactured a variety of plastic extrusions gaining an enviable reputation for high-quality products, including building profiles, plumbing products, office partitioning, ceiling panelling, skirting, synthetic decking, safety and DIY products, to name but a few.

In June 2010 the company celebrated 30 years in the thermo-plastic extrusion business with an evening of horse racing, football and fireworks at the Goodwood Race Course.
