Aikona is a hard-wearing and realistic alternative to hardwood
flooring. Manufactured from a vinyl composite, this unique
PVC floor covering has been created to give the appearance
and natural beauty of wooden planks and yet solve many of
the practical problems associated with maintaining a traditional
wooden floor.
Aikona has a grained appearance that can be left rough cut
or sanded, depending on whether a natural or high-gloss finish
is desired. Aikona is supplied in plain form, or with a caulking
stripe designed to create a nautical atmosphere. It can be
supplied in a variety of colours to match fixtures and fittings.
When compared with a traditional wood floor, Aikona vinyl
flooring has several advantages. It has a tough wear layer,
which is resilient to impact and abrasion and a carefully
formulated non-slip surface that remains effective even when

wet areas where there may be a risk of injury.

where weathering would cause a traditional hard wood floor
